If your heating and hot water is provided by a gas boiler in your home, CHS Homes will carry out a gas safety check and boiler service on this appliance every year, as well as checking the safety of any other gas appliances in your home. It is important for you and your family's safety, as well as your neighbours, that this check is carried out - it also helps to make sure your boiler is working efficiently, saving you money on your gas bills.
Our contractors, Gasway will contact you directly 2-3 months before the service is due to arrange an appointment with you - the whole visit should only take about 30-45 minutes. If you are unable to make the appointment offered, you will be provided with a number to call to re-arrange. Alternatively, please contact the Customer Services Team on or contact us via e-mail by clicking here. Both CHS Homes and Gasway will try to arrange a convenient appointment directly with you. However, if access cannot be arranged or you fail to keep an agreed appointment, CHS Homes may consider taking legal action to gain access and the costs will be recharged to you.
If your heating and hot water is provided by a communal boiler, the servicing will be carried out by Imtech Aqua. Appointments do not need to be arranged for these visits, as access has already been arranged.
Both of our gas servicing contractors are on the Gas Safe Register and each engineer will carry an ID badge with a unique licence number - the engineers have been instructed to show this card to any of our customers before entering your home.
