Ethos

We offer a homely atmosphere combining fun, care and learning. All children are valued and respected as individuals, each with their own unique personality and needs. We have a wide variety of different ethnic groups and religions and we regularly share children's cultural experiences within our nursery. We are committed to helping children develop at their own pace and liaise with parents on a daily basis to ensure that we accommodate all children's needs and their likes and dislikes.

We operate a Key Worker system, where each family is assigned a named member of staff within their child's room who will be especially responsible for that child. Key workers compile a record of development for each child which demonstrates his or her progress throughout the Nursery, and which parents are encouraged to contribute to. Additionally, all the staff offer parents support with childcare issues and encourage open discussions throughout your child's time with us, to provide consistent childcare between home and nursery.

We provide daily feedback to parents. In the under 2's this is done through written notes  or home/nursery diaries.  Verbal feedback is given to parents in the over 2's rooms.

A newsletter is produced to keep parents informed of the nursery activities on a monthly basis.
