Everyone at Cambridge Housing Society would like to extend our warmest wishes for a happy and peaceful Christmas and New Year. Our head office in Histon will be closing for Christmas from Wednesday 24 December 3pm, until Tuesday 2 January 9am.

For emergency repairs, please call our usual number 0300 111 3555 where you will be connected to our out-of-hours service. Please note that during this period, we will typically make the issue safe first and carry out the full repair during normal working hours in the New Year. This emergency line will remain fully operational throughout Christmas and New Year.  Emergency repairs are issues that present an immediate risk to health, safety, or your home. These include: 

• Total loss of electricity
• Severe leaks or flooding
• No heating or hot water in freezing temperatures
• Unsafe plumbing, electrics, or structural damage
• Fire or security issues, such as broken entry doors
